INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTERS

We encourage presenters of oral communications, participants in symposium, and poster presenters, to stick to the following instructions to contribute to achieving the best conference experience. SYMPOSIUM & ORAL PRESENTATIONS

  • Oral presentations and symposiums are organized in (parallel) sessions with up to 5 speakers per session.
  • Each presentation will last 10 minutes, plus 3-5 minutes for questions and comments. The total run time of a session is about 75 minutes.
  • The program identifies the session chair for oral presentation sessions.
  • The symposium chairs correspond to the researchers who submitted the symposium proposal. In sessions with various oral presentations, one of the presenters (designed by the Local Organizing Committee) will act as the chair.
  • Presentations will always be made in the order assigned in the program.

 

POSTERS

  • All presenters must prepare their posters using a portrait orientation. The dimensions of printed posters are 118 cm (46.45 inches) by 84 cm (33.07 inches) in length or smaller.
  • We do not provide a template, so poster presenters can use the style their institution typically uses.
  • The poster panels include clamps to hang the poster, so there is no need to bring tape. Presenters should arrive at the poster location 5-10 minutes before the session begins. They must remain at their poster while the session lasts.
  • There are two poster sessions each conference day. Poster presenters whose poster is scheduled in the morning session can put up their posters anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:55 a.m. If they are scheduled in the poster session in the afternoon, they can put up their posters anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 3:25 p.m.  
  • The authors must remove the posters by the end of the session (At noon for morning session and at 5:30 p.m. for afternoon session).
  • Presenters should be available to discuss their posters with in-person attendees during the poster session.
