We will make an exclusive guided tour of the Alhambra. The monument will be visited privately only by those attending the ITC 2024 Congress. This is a great opportunity to get to know the monument in a very special way.
As the seat of the sultanate´s court, perhaps the most remarkable sights of the Alhambra are the palaces commissioned by the Nasrid sultans. Behind the bare walls, devoid of any decoration, that mark the outside of the compound, we find a series of buildings of subtle architecture and fragile, delicate ornamentation that produce an intentes aesthetic emotion. These were the residences used by the different Nasrid sultans for themselves and their courts. These palaces are currntly divided into three main areas independent of – yet connected with – each other: Mexuar, Palacio de Comares y Palacio de los Leones.
